To begin with an experimental process at the Laboratory of Animals for Experimental Purposes (L.A.E.P.), the researcher should submit the application for protocol authorization.

The application should be send to the Committee for Protocol Evaluation of Ioannina University (anilabuoi@uoi.gr), and the Committe will deliver its opinion for each of the following issues:

• the approval of the experimental protocol
• the retrospective assessment of the experimental protocol
• the submition of the non-technical summary
