Course content: Students are trained in Ob-Gyn on a rotational basis along the units of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology: Obstetrical wards, Gynecology ward, Labor ward, Fetal Maternal unit, Gynecological Oncology unit, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility unit, Laboratory of Women’s Health and Genetics, Gynecological Endoscopy unit and the outpatient clinics of obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic endocrinology/osteoporosis, family planning, adolescence gynecology, recurrent pregnancy loss, pelvic pain. The students actively participate in normal deliveries and surgical operations. They also are expected to follow an on-call schedule. They are also encouraged to participate in research projects and educational presentations.

Training: The students are clinically trained as members of the department having received clinical responsibilities under close supervision by the faculty. They are expected to develop adequate basic clinical skills and achieve fluency in formulating a differential diagnosis upon common pathologic entities of the specialty and propose possible realistic management plans.
