It is the basis of new ideas, principles and theories, which may not be immediately exploited, but are essential for the progress and the development of different fields. It is the source of most new scientific ideas before they are applied in clinical practice.

In our department, cellular and animal models are used to investigate the function and molecular mechanisms of genes, proteins and new drugs in the fields of Developmental, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology.
