History
The establishment of the Medical School, at 1977, radically changed the image and fortune of the area of Epirus, which no longer remained isolated. Since that time, it acquired an upgraded quality of life and, with noble emulation, began to compete with Athens and Thessaloniki in the scientific field and in the provision of health services.
